Lavandula angustifolia 'Miss Katherine'

Miss Katherine Lavender

Miss Katherine Lavender is a pale pink English Lavender with wonderful fragrance. Thought to be the best of the pink lavenders, Miss Katherine was awarded a Garden of Merit award by the Royal Horticulture Society in 2002.

It has proven to be easier to grow with a longer life than Jean Davis, our other pink English Lavender. We also think it shows as pinker, possibly because it has a more colorful calyx. In our sunny spring weather it often looks paler than it would in an area with a cooler spring.

Miss Katherine Lavender makes a great addition to our Zone 5-11 Fragrant Herb Garden Six Pack.

This plant is often available in plug trays. These trays hold 128 of all the same plant.  They are a great low cost way to fill a lot of space. Each cell is 3/4 of inch by an inch. Check here to see if Miss Katherine Lavender Plug Trays are available.

Pink Lavender, Miss Katherine, hosts a bee.
