Snails and slugs can be devastating to your
garden. Night time creepy crawlers, they can be hard to detect. Fortunately, there is a simple solution that does not involve
dangerous chemicals. It turns out that these gastropods get a real charge
out of copper. An electrical charge that is, a deathly electrical charge.
And, somehow they know this instinctively and will not cross the copper. How
amazing is that? You can use this sticky copper tape and wrap it
around almost anything, pots or raised beds, trees and patio furniture, even
dog bowls. As the copper is exposed to air it will get a rather nice patina,
but this will not affect the effect it has on the snails and slugs.
