Thymus pulegioides Pennsylvania Dutch Tea Thyme

Pennsylvania Dutch Tea Thyme has large oval, dark green, scented leaves that are typical of the species pulegioides. These leaves make a strong flavored tea that mixes well with other herbs. It may be used fresh or dried. Try substituting it for English Thyme in cooking. Cooking Thymes make wonderfully fragrant additions to any patio or sunny windowsill. Our self-watering Chelsea Planters are perfect for growing Thyme or any other small herbs.

Pennsylvania Dutch Tea Thyme is included in our
Zone 5 Tea Herb Garden.
