Our oval windowsill planters are the perfect first home for our three inch potted herbs and flowers. To successfully container grow most small plants, it is better to move them into moderately larger containers at first and, then, when they outgrow that size, move them up to an even larger container. Our attractive oval windowsill planters are heavy duty polymer pots that are reminiscent of Italian terra-cotta, but are far more durable and light weight. They fit in with most decors and can grace patio or windowsill and will give you years of use. The removable saucer is handy for protecting surfaces from water that runs through the pot. Their slender shape lets them slide into the smallest spaces for greater convenience. |

This handy compressed brick of CocoTek Coconut Coir can be mixed with perlite and dry fertilizer to make your own soil for pots. Or use it in hydroponic systems by combining it with an equal amount of Hydroton (clay pellets), or other hydroponic media in various proportions. This highly-compressed and improved brick absorbs moisture quickly. Just drop CocoTek in approximately one gallon of fresh water or light nutrient solution and allow it to expand to approximately 1/3 of a cubic foot of Coco-Tek coir. Add to Perlite and mix with McGeary's All Purpose Organic Fertilizer for your own perfect mix. |

Perlite is a kind of rock that is heated to above 1600 degrees to make it pop. The result is an inert space maker perfect for adding to peat moss or coconut coir to make a well-drained potting soil. It is sterile, light weight and has a neutral pH. Use one bag of perlite, one brick of CoCo Tek Coconut Coir and 1/4 cup of McGeary's Organic All Purpose Fertilizer and make your own economical organic potting soil. |
