Unusual top setting onion that you don't have to dig up to harvest. Small pearl onions form in clusters around the towering flower blossoms. If the bulbs are left on the plant the supporting stem will fall over and the bulblets will root or "walk".

Golden pompoms are held at the end of branches bearing 5 in. long leaves, dark green on top and tomentose beneath. Yellow flowers have an orange throat and bloom from spring to fall. This variety seems to be the most attractive to butterflies.
