Columbines Mckana's Giant Columbine Tequila Sunrise Columbine and William Guinness Columbine

Columbine Plants are pretty even as unopened buds

McKana's Giant Columbine Flower

Columbines are one of the easiest and most rewarding of all perennials. They adapt to many different kinds of climate and sun condition. Their flowers are a treasure in spring and when they are through flowering their waxy green foliage continues to add grace to the garden.

Plant them in a mixed border or in a mass by themselves. If you cut them back after they bloom, they make a nice lacy ground cover.

Our McKana's Columbines are from seed and flower colors may vary but are usually yellow centers with pinkish petals.

McKana's Giant Columbines (Aquilegia caerulea cv.) are pictured above and to the right.  William Guinness (A. vulgaris) is pictured below left and Tequila Sunrise (A. caerulea cv.) is below right.
