Growing & using Black and Blue Sage
Lovely long deep purple flowers offset the almost black calyx of this amazing Salvia. In addition to foot long flower spikes, wide, textured leaves give Black and Blue Sage an exotic look. We find it benefits from afternoon shade during our roasting hot summers. Not as drought tolerant as some Salvias, be sure to keep it well watered and place in a well drained location.
